Web-based tools for translators

Outline programme

Join us for an opportunity for an in-depth discussion facilitated by Joanna Gough, currently preparing a PhD on web based tools for translators at Surrey University.

Some questions to be considered are: which types and subject areas are best suited to the use of translation tools; why are some resources underused; would better awareness influence the choice and level of use of tools; what do translators need that they don't find in currently-available tools?
